Senator Wilken moved that the bill be returned to second reading for the purpose of a specific amendment, that being Amendment No. 8. Without objection, the bill was returned to second reading. Senators Wilken, Therriault offered Amendment No. 8 : 2001-04-09 Senate Journal Page 1020 Page 4, line 18, following "area.": Insert "Hearings may be held by teleconference, except that at least two members of the commission must be physically present during each hearing conducted in a community or a city that has at least 200 residents."
